Hey guys Hope you are both well - it's been a while since I said hello, and I didn't want you to think that I had forgotten you (I could never do that - no matter how hard I try!). How's things with you both - hope you're still enjoying the sun, sea and... well all those other things that begin with S.... Your blog is looking fab... Paulie I only wish I could say the same about your hair - I have definitely migrated from the "save" camp to the "shave" camp James, could you not convince him to have a Brazilian?! Things are good here, though obviously not as good as they would be if you were here to join in the merriment! You missed all the excitement of the snow last month - we had a couple of inches... I was hoping it would disrupt the trains enough to result in a day off, but alas that was the first day in about a month that they actually ran on time. B*****ds! Keep in touch chickens, and behave yourselves. However, if you can't do that, be sure to post the interesting bits on the blog! Serena xxx

Yo chuck! Funny really, the one thing I really do not miss is the trains, albeit the 24 hour bus journey do suck. At least I've got somewhere exciting to go to at the end. How is the charidee work going - BHF wasn't it? You're gonna love your Indian adventure - the best thing about doing what I'm doing now is just not knowing what's in store. When do you go? I've just booked the Machu Piichu trek for the end of April, which will be excellent. There's a nearby, less encountered city called Choquequirao which is another 5 day trek, and then after that there's a beautiful looking valley (deeper than the Grand Canyon apparently) which I'd like to trek. Since it's impossible not to put on weight with all this Basilian cuisine it will be nice to have a month of solid exercise! Before that I want to go further north here in Brazil and then leave for Columbia to stay with a family to learn the language. I want to go to Bolivia too in order to save some of my pennies, and then I will decide whether to go to Argentine or Chile briefly or return to Brazil. It's funny, I thought I'd see so many more countries, but I've realised taht it's more fun to stay in one place a while to find out a bit about it. Eenyhoo, gotta dash and look up some stuff to do! Speak to you soon. The Hair remains.
