Happy Birthday to you! Squashed tomatoes and stew! Well, maybe not the tomatoes, but I hope that you are having big birthday fun. I was back in Ware 2 weeks ago and we were working out who had the next birthday and then we all gave a big sigh because it was you Paulie and we wouldn't get to see you and give you a big squeeze (although I hear that you have been getting big squeezy goodness out there - you sly old fox!) Hope you have a brilliant birthday and that it inspires you to write postcards - I'm still waiting for my original piece of artwork gosh darn it! Hope that you boys are having lots of fun. Love you lots, Amber xxx

Cheers girlies - my birthday was spent festa-ing with the locals and getting drunk (and extreeeeemly hot). Went to the Galo de Madragado, which is the world's biggest street festival, where I danced with a reported 30 million other people! Who'd have thought that they would all come out for my birthday? In the evening we saw famous Midnight Man (they have all these costumes of giant men and women that walk through the city with a marching band and dancers), which came out accompanied by fireworks, each one spelling out the people's love for me! Thanks for the kind words, and rest assured I will definitely write personally soon (I have a book of postcards with pictures already on them, and Amber's book too...) Funny to think I'm almost half-way through my travels already!
