Hi Paul, hope you don't mind me signing in and leaving you a message but I have been loving your emails telling us about everything going on whilst on your adventure.
To tell you the truth I am a bit bored tonight as Ian has gone away to stay in a hotel in Kent with Glenda and the rest of them from work, leaving me on my own tonight, now the kids are in bed. Dean and Lewis have now taken a particular shine to Glenda since she has been bringing them in little presents and now Dean has named his latest teddy after her (because he says she is a nice person)(bless)and Ian thinks it's hilarious when we say 'don't forget to take Glenda to bed with you' !
We are extremely jealous of your fantastic trip as the most we have done is the usual family holidays...it all sounds sooooo exciting and I am glad you are having a good time.
Take care and look after yourselves (can't help sounding mumsy) but didn't I say after that one meeting I feel like I have known you for years ..lol
Sharon (Ian's lovely wife)

Hey Sharon, hope you're not so bored now. I have to agree with Ian - the thought of your son taking Glenda to bed is quite amusing!!!! Thanks for the kind words and the mumsy-ness - without a mum out here to nag me it is useful to have as many people watching over me to keep me in check. I hope that none of the other guys there at Primark found out about this otherwise they may be saying the same thing to him... Keep in touch and let me know when you guys are coming out to join me here in South America! Paulo

I am currently sitting here, (as Glenda's son), not quite knowing what to say. I have never noticed the similarities between her and a teddy bear - although I will squint and double check next time I see her.

Hi Matt...it is a really lovely winnie the pooh bear with a pink t-shirt on so it isn't too insulting ! I think your mum thinks it is quite sweet that's Dean's named it after her...it's just unnatural for Ian to keep saying things like 'don't forget glenda' and 'is Glenda in your bed already' and 'give Glenda a kiss goodnight' I expect her ears are burning!
Paul....I'm no longer bored now as my soulmate has returned (or so he keeps telling me he is) .... glad my mumsyness didn't offend too much and we will just keep it our little secret ..lol Don't joke about me and Ian coming out to visit, sounds like the adventure of a lifetime...only would I be able to plug in my hair staightners at all times? and unfortunately Ian would be lost without the continual use of his xbox360 !
Keep having fun and keep us updated
Shaz X

Hello Trigg! How u doing? Sorry for being such a lazy b'stard and not writing sooner. I guess I was suprised that you actually made it out there! Shaz didn't mention it but "Glenda" gave birth to a lovely little lion cub the other day. Both mother and baby are doing fine. It was a very quick and painless delivery. Dean managed to do the procedure in less than 5 seconds (Sound effects included). Unfortunately I kicked "Glenda" in the head but I guess it serves her right for laying around on my living room floor. Anyways, keep up the good work and take care of yourselves, which for you Trigg is very hard! Bye for now.

So many questions, so little time. I'll start off with the easy question - Glenda: I'll get the hair cut when it starts falling out! Chippy, I can't believe you wouldn't allow Glenda a little nap on your floor after all those 5 seconds of hard work (yeah, like childbirth is difficult!), and I can't believe you haven't got more faith in me! Naturally I arrived, and naturally I'm safe - besides, I'm a double-hard bastard, so nobody would mess with me! As for joining me over here, most hostels seem to have games consoles, and if not, there are always plenty of internet cafes with games players and stuff,so we can leave him there while you straighten your hair and I get lost somewhere! Good news is that the Pound goes very far in Brazil, so you can stay in a nice hotel for not too much. Speak to y'all soon. Paulo
