Hi Paulie, don't know whether you are able to keep up to date with the goings on in the premiership so i thought I'd better let you know that Man Utd are currently at the top of the league! My main reason for bringing this up is to add that Arsenal have just kick Liverpool's a**e out of the FA Cup by beating them 1 - 3 away from home!!! I also went to the new stadium to see Arsenal v Charlton on 2nd Jan where I bet that Henry would score first in a 4 - 0 win, which he (and they) promptly did! I got £17.50 return on my £1 bet! Anyway I shall finish this message now and wait for the onslaught of excuses from any Liverpool fans that read this thread! Hope you are having BIG fun! Love Kayx

Hahahahaha! I have been keeping roughly up to date with the footy, and enjoyed that score - not doing so well are they? It's nice to see Utd at the top, and I think most people would actually like anyone but Chelsea to win. It's a shame none of the other big teams are that close as I can't help thinking that Chelsea will come good sooner rather than later. Ho hum. In Ouro Preto right now, which is a gorgeous old Portuguese mining town, and then off further inland fairly soon. Hoping for drier weather soon...

I tried! I really did, but I can't resist a quick retort!!
Maybe if the yellow card awarded to Alonso for being kicked by Gilberto had been shown to Gilberto for kicking Alonso (as very clearly happened) and a penalty awarded (which would have been correct) the game may have panned out differently. Cheating Gooner scum.
Hey ho, there's always the League Cup.

Don't forget Europe! I thought all the British teams were through (if you can count Arsenal).

And watch out for the West Ham late charge for the title

Oh dear! Looks like the league cup is also out of the question for Liverpool. What's the excuse this time? 6-3 is quite an emphatic victory is it not!? ;D
