Right, bit jealous now. Sun, Sea, Surf - what more do you want? Looks wonderful and also looks like you are having a great time. Both of you are looking very well. I took the liberty of updating your blog page with a up to date photo of you both so we all can see you in all your glory. Christmas is approaching here, do you have Christmas in Brazil? Nothing too exciting going on at my end, last day at work today before the Christmas break - any further blog checks between now and Christmas might be sporadic, so I will say it now - Guys - have a great Christmas, keep it safe and keep it real. Look forward to hearing from you more in the New Year. - Where are you spending New Years eve?? We had a Christmas get together a couple of weekends ago, and as Kay said about Sunday drinking, not the same without you guys! Matt

CHeers doodle - suffice to say it's not the same here without the family and friends and cold weather! New Year will probably be spent on Copacabana/Ipanema beach with 100s of 1000s of other revellers all dressed in white (Brazilian tradition to do with purity I think!). And yes we do have Christmas in Brazil owing to the fact it is a catholic country! You'll be pleased to hear it is even cheesier out here with a huge array of dancing Father Chrstmasses on sale... Heard about your party from Ella - tequila Twister eh? And glad to hear that the boys maintained the traitional Brainiac-whipping! Did Owen embarass himself on that music quiz again? Or has he bought himself a copy and studied? Christmas is safe and real - keep it likewise in Blighty, and don't forget to eat an effigy of James and me made out of Christmas cake icing. Also, James says can you pick a nicer picture of us from the photos as I look camp, he looks ugly and that photo was taken 2 days into our trip - we've both actually tanned a little since then! Cheers doodle and love to all, P.

Yeah, if you let me know what photo to use, I can replace the photo for Mr Vain. Boys did whip the girls in Brainiac again, all good fun, the tequila Twister was a more sinister affair but luckly I avoided it by being Mr Spinner and getting the girls drunk. The blokes, surprise surprise, didn't land on the spots that had the forefit if a shot.... Christmas is easy to sum up for me - Maff = ate a huge cow on christmas day and again on boxing day. Still recovering if you know what I mean... Happy new year to all - and a good night.

That sounds a bit like what happens to me every time I eat one of the delicious pasties over here - nice but deadly. In Brasil you get things called Churrascarias, meateries, where you pay a set price and get all you can eat (or sometimes pay by the weight) of whatever you like, including lots of freshly barbequed meat - lovely! I suspect you'd be in hogs heaven. What did you get upto for Ano Novo?Paulo

Serena and I spent New Year in Wimbledon with Kristian and Larry (with their friends) It was good fun, went to a bar for the last hour of 2006 and watched the local totty for an hour. (And that was just Serena) Serena can't remember much - so it must have been good

That sounds like a normal night out, eh Serena! Sounds like a good idea to me! I've spent most of my 'adventure' staring at women - I love it! Now I can't stop myself, but hey, that just makes me more Brazilian: the guys are not subtle about checking out ladyfolk...
